KATHMANDU: Former Chinese ambassador to Nepal Jiyan Xuan is arriving in Nepal today on a two day visit. The visit is being undertaken with the mission of inviting Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal to China.

The Chinese side is expected to invite Prime Minister Nepal to visit China in late October. The invitation is coming at a time when the UCPN-Maoist has already issued a call for the formation of the national government headed by Maoists.
