KATHMANDU: The scheduled meeting of the top leaders of the three main political parties is uncertain today, with the Maoist leader Prachanda being out of the capital since yesterday.
The meeting which was initially scheduled for Wednesday was called off when Prachanda flew out of the capital to Chitwan suddenly, thus leaving the other leaders to call off the planned meeting.
"We have not yet been informed by the Maoist leaders on the meeting today. They have said that they will come in touch once Prachanda flies back," said CPN-UML leader Iswar Pokharel while talking with the reportersnepal.com.
The planned meeting was expected to sort out the row surrounding the continued disruption of the legislative constittuent assembly with Maoists demanding reversal of decision to reinstate army chief as a precondition for smooth functioning of the house.
