KATHMANDU: As many as 8 villagers have been reported dead following landslides precipitated by heavy rainfall during the last few days. The dead include four children including three of a family.

Three died in Deurali area of eastern Kaski early today. Another report said three died in Sera area of Mugu district. Report from Rautahat said heavy rain has inundated some areas leading to inundation in lowlying areas.
