KATHMANDU: The session of the Legislative Constituent Assembly has been prorogued by President Ram Baran Yadav today. The budget which kicked off on July 7 was stormy one and longest ever.
The summer session which was convened on 217 occasions had passed budged after much delay. Important business comprise amendment to the interim constitution, while it could pass only 7 bills into law.
The session was disrupted over 4 months with Maoists demanding civilian supremacy.
