KATHMANDU: The Young Communist League (YCL) has today said that the stampede to form the youth brigade by various parties should be seen as a bid to disrupt the peace process.
The conclusion has come following the central committee meeting of the YCL which ended last evening. The youth wing of the UCPN-Maoist which is known for informal ways has come to the conclusion that young brigades of other parties were provoking it into action and thus disrupt the peace process.
The chairman of YCL Ganesh Pun has meanwhile announced a peaceful agitation plus awareness campaing with the objective of stepping up pressure for a new constitution.
The outfit has meanwhile announced a series of program beginning March 20 which will invovle signature collection in favor of progressive constitution.
This will be followed by presenting the signature to the constituent assembly before the YCL cadres fan across the country to organize rallies and demonstration in the first half of April.
