KATHMANDU: Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai today said that the government was trying to renew the conflict by ruling out extention to UNMIN ahead.

The remarks has come at a time when the government has said that it could not renew the extension of the UNMIN since it was backign the Maoist cause.

"What the government is doing is not honest. That will renew the conflict," Dr Bhattarai said adding that "it was coming from those who do not want the new constitution and who do not want any positive changes of lasting nature."

He came down heavily on the senior ministers for coming up with irresponsible remarks.
