KATHMANDU: Security agencies have tightened security in the capital while Free Tibet activist brace up to mark the 51st anniversary of the revolt in Kathmandu. They have planned demos in front of Chinese embassy and news agency in the capital.
The information given out says the Tibetan activists will be staging protests at four venues in the capital including in front of monasteries and Chinese embassy. Refugees have lighted the lamps in monasteries and herded students from Buddhist schools to public places
Meanwhile reports said China has tightened the borders marking the incident. Kathmandu has remained a epicenter of Tibetan activism in recent years to the disenchantment of the Chinese side.
