CPN-UML COMING TO A DECISION ON CONTENTIOUS AGENDA TODAY
March 10 2010

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML which has long failed to come to a position on state restructuring and electoral system under the new constitution is planning to sort out the differences in the party today.

The party which has been meeting since quite long on the issue has so far failed to come to consensus position in the party with the same divided into two camps each backing its own political system and federalism model.

The party has come to the decision that the agenda of federating the nation under the new constitution should be entrusted to a commission in the wake of the continuing differences among the central members.

In fact the party will be deciding whether the same should be entrusted to a commission with K P Oli and Khanal camp failing to resolve the issue. The meeting has opened earlier on in the day.
