BELTAR: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal today claimed that his government has made a breakthrough in the discharge of the disqualified combatants from the cantonments.

He also said that his government was also in a position to wangle the constitution by ensuring consensus among the parties in the field.

"None of the governments managed to undertake leave alone achieve it. Moreover it is also talking with the parties to wangle the new constitution,"Prime Minister Nepal said.

Speaking to journalists at an interaction session organized by Press Chautari he said it was in the fitness of things to ensure the integration of the army before the new constitution comes by.

He has been reported to have faced demos staged by Maoist workers whene he was in Beltar earlier in the day to throw open a statue of Pusha Lal.
