KATHMANDU: Congress President G P Koirala has been reported to be stable. Koirala who was reported critical on Wednesday has regained normalcy although he is facing respiratory complications.

Wednesday saw him talking with visiting UN official at his residence although he was assisted by central leaders of the party in explaining the issues invovled. He had reassured the UN official that peace process will go to its logical end.

Meanwhile the Congress has cancelled the central committee meeting today also in deference to their leader who is struggling. Any decision to fly him out will be taken only after Sujata Koirala returns from Europe visit.

Deputy Prime Minister has cut short her visit and is returning on Friday. Initially she was scheduled to come in two weeks.
