KATHMANDU: Congress leader Narayan Khadka today said that there was some nefarious understanding between UNMIN and UCPN-Maoist thus leading to the latest position on army integration.
"UNMIN is not cooperating in the process. There is some wrong in the acts," Dr Khadka while speaking at an interaction session at the Reporters Club Nepal.
He also said that the possibility of a constitution coming by is now near to nil. Meanwhile in an interaction session presided by Baikuntha Dhungana Maoist leader Agni Sapkota lashed out at parties which are chasing the UNMIN away.
"We are trying to avoid the war. But war mongers are pushing us towards one,"Sapkota said, adding that they were trying to revive the 1990 constitution.
CPN-UML leader Prakash Jwala said that the controversy has erupted because the Maoists have not come up with details on the strength of the fighters.
