DHANGADI: Minister of Information and Communication Shankar Pokharel today ruled out any further progress in the peace process until the UNMIN supplies the dossiers on Maoist combatants.
He came up with the condition while speaking at an interaction session organized by Press Chautari earlier on in the day.
"The dossier is essential for us since we have to pay them," Minister Pokharel said, adding that if the UNMIN does not comply "we will have to think of other ways."
Inter alia the same will be raised in the steering committee as well.
He also claimed that the government was committeed to promulgate the constitution by the given deadline. He flayed the Maoist view that it will cooperate in the task of drafting the constiutiton only after getting to lead the government was not legitimate at all.
