Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is holding talks with visiting Asian Development Bank (ADB) chief Haruhiko Kuroda at the Prime Minister's office in Singhdurbar. The main agendas of the topic, according to sources will the present contribution of ADB and other areas for extending ADB cooperation. ADB is currently the biggest donor of Nepal. It has been contributing in education, town development, sanitation, drinking water and in the development of the Municipal corporation.
According to the officials at the Finance ministry, Kuruda has assured of investing in the sector of Hydroelectricity, Solar Energy, and rural roads. After his arrival on Monday, Kuruda has conducted meetings with senior government officials and visited project sites funded by ADB. According to the ADB Resident Mission in Nepal, Kuruda is scheduled to address a press meet later today.
