An Unified CPN Maoist local activist was brutally shot dead yesterday in Parshuram VDC -1 of Bara district. YCL incharge and UCPN Maoist's district secretariat member Khesari Yadav was shot dead by an unidentified armed group while the while the victim was sleeping on his roof. The murder happened at around 2 am yesterday night. Keshari was shot two bullets on his chest and abdomen and breathed his last while he was being rushed to Kaleya for medical treatment.

The police has informed that the investigation's were underway for finding the  culprit. According to Maoist district Assistant Incharge Devendra Parajuli,  In protest of the murder UCPN Maoist, Bara has called an band from 1o am today through out the district.

Meanwhile District Coordinator of United Jantantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha Ajad Group, Bikram Singh has taken the responsibility of the murder.
