US ambassador to Nepal Scott H. DeLisi today discussed the issues of constitution drafting, combatant integration and the developments in the prime minister selection with UCPN Maoist chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal. The meeting was done at UCPN Maoist  headquarters in Parisdanda. Maoist chairman Prachanda assured the envoy that all the problems will be solved after the formation of the government.

Before Prachanda, DeLisi had met Deputy Prime Minister and President of Madhesi Janadhkar Forum Bijay Kumar Gachedar at the ministry. DeLisi during the meeting has expressed his interest in the Madhesi based parties role in the upcoming election on August 2. In reply Gachedar had infomed the envoy that the Madhesi parties will stick to their plans as laid down previously.
