July 31 2010

KATHMANDU

In his latest efforts for securing a safe landing of the present exercise for electing a prime minister, CA chairman Subash Chandra Nembang has continued talks with political parties. Early today Nembang held talks with Maoist chairman Prachanda at this own office in Singhadurbar. Nembang said that the talk was focused on the way ahead if the August 2 election fails to provide the nation with a prime minister. After the failure of two consequent elections to provide the nation with a prime minister, the parliament will vote again on August 2.

During the one hour discussion, the duo discussed the basis of compromise among parties for the third round of election. During the meeting, Prachanda claimed that the Maoist will be wining the election with support from the Madhes based parties. . Arguing that the repetition of the same process again will raise serious questions about the existence of parliament itself. Nembang urged the Maoist president for thinking of alternates if the election fails to come up with a victor
