Terming the party leadership of being eccentric and totalitarian, over a dozen of UML activist in Saptari gave up their membership of the party today.  Along with UNFSU central member Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Former district secretary Umesh yadav, district member Anirudra Prasad Singh, President of FSU of MBB campus nominated from UNFSU Kedar Yadav more than hundred UML members publicly announced their resignation from the membership by arranging a press meet today at the Municipal hall of Rajbiraj municipality.

Though they have not taken the membership of any party so far, they have accused the party of being passive in addressing the issues of Madhes. In an similar event, three months earlier CPN UML's former MP Danalal Choudhary, Hiralal Choudhary and other dozens of party members had left the party.
