MAOIST PROPOSED A BRIBE OF 5 CRORES FOR ML VOTES: MAINALI

CPN ML general secretary C P Mainali claimed that the Maoist had offered 5 crore rupees for supporting its Prime Ministerial candidate Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Mainali disclosed the fact at a program in Bhaktapur today. He claimed that after his refusal to accept the bribe the party was disintegrated into two. He further claimed that the four members left the party due to the active role played by Maoist politburo member Jagat Bahadur Bogati in dividing the party.
He further added that the Maoists after facing continuous defeats in the Prime Ministerial run off has resorted bribe lawmakers for acquiring their support. For putting an end to this trend he urge the CPN UML for giving up its neutral stance for forming a democratic government. He added that unless a government was formed Maoist would continue to divide parties by buying its lawmakers.
