KATHMANDU Constitutional Assembly member and lawmaker Mohamad Ishityaq Rai's residence located at Jayeshpur-6, Banke was bombed by an unidentified group on Tuesday. DSP of Banke police Binod Ghimire informed that the bomb blasted near the channel gate of the residence. Due to the blast the gate and a nearby standing jeep having Indian number plate were damaged. Neighbor of Rai, 25 year old Mohammad Ahmed Rai fell down from his terrace where he was sleeping due to the blast. Till now no one has claimed the responsibility for the blast. Lawmaker Rai was elected from constituency number 2 of Banke district as member of Madeshi Janadhikar Forum Nepal (MJF-N)through direct election system. Some days earlier Jantantrik Tarai Madhes Mukti Party had accused the Madhes based parties of marginalizing the issues of Madhes by aligning with Maoist and had issued warning of carrying out "Jankarbahi" (public punishment) against them.
