SINDHUPALCHOWK Mother and son of the same family were and while other two members including the head of the family Ramesh Karki and his uncle Bhakta Bahadur are still unknown due to landslide at Mankha-1 of Sindupalchowk district on Tuesday night. The landslide that occurred at around 2.30 yesterday night, engulfed the residence of one Ramesh Karki, killing his son, Ranjan Karki, 4, and his mother, Padam Kumari, police informed. The whereabouts of Karki and his uncle Bhakta Bahadur, who were buried in the mudslide, is yet to be ascertained. However, Karki’s mother-in-law Kamala Timilsina of Pangretar-4 and his relative Saroj Timilsina have been rescued by the police and taken for treatment.
